Good stuff from the club.
The armed forces deserve our utmost respect all year round, no just Remembrance Sunday and a few days before

I fancy a win today. Reckon a narrow 2-1

Two important home games in four days.
I reckon we'll do OK today, despite Barrow's new manager syndrome (Pennock should get them out of the bottom 4). No away win this season! Tuesday we might struggle. Four points from those two games would do.

0v2 relegation fight is on and Hill sits in front of me with his arms folded. Useless.

I have been a regular attendee at Silverlake for 14 years with the past 5-6 years as a season ticket holder but today was a first for me. I left for home 15 minutes into the second half having had enough. Not for the first time this season the performance was absolute dross and we were lucky to score nil. And it is not a one off, not a two off, not even a three off, it a season off. It seems the comment on every match these days. I know people will say I should keep the faith but, I’m afraid the Faith has evaporated
With the present personnel this team is going nowhere, I say `team` but that is one thing it is not
Well that’s it for me. I will see you all again when I hear of EFC playing something that approaches entertaining football. The club will not miss me as I have already payed for the rest of the season via a season ticket

Shame SWB, you missed us playing ok for 20 minutes. Sadly that was after we’d gone 2-0 down. More turgid rubbish yet again - in Hill we trust! Yeah i’n sure we do!!!!!!

It'll get lost in all the other stuff which will be said, so I'll say it. Ben Williamson, what a performance. He covered every blade of grass, he never gave up anything as a lost cause and he was head and shoulders our best player. In fact for the last 25 minutes we threw the kitchen sink at Barrow and were unlucky not to score a couple of goals. That said Barrow could have scored 6 and deserved to win the game.
Lest anyone things I have lost the plot and am not aware of our situation. For 60 minutes we were awful beyond description. I think Richard Hill is a thoroughly decent man, who has done much for this club. I hope he is not sacked, but if he should tender his resignation, that would meet with respect from me.
We need a fresh start. Starting Tuesday.

Not a shot on goal for an hour! Their keeper only needed to make one save, the others were missing the goal! When is enough enough

It is total dross and no doubt there will be many other season ticket holders who won't be turning up like you at the moment. There is just an stagnant air of resignation around the team and club at the moment. The murmurs I heard in the blue stand today were different though, I think patience is wearing out. Hil needs to be removed. Yes there is a gap of 6 points with the relegation zone but we are losing to teams in the relegation zone. Relegation is a genuine prospect this season.

Dreadful for the first 70 mins, the subs (McCallum and Matthews) helped improve things somewhat after that, but still a poor performance.
No way Barrow were bottom 4 material, but they are not the first team to come here this season and play well. Maybe it's a case of 'Lads, it's only Eastleigh'. They looked bigger than us, and simply wanted it more Inexcusable from our point of view. New manager syndrome for them too.
First half we competed OK, debutant Heslop played well, Miley was good in the first half hour. But there was no creativity, no forwards creating space, Zeb and Beano (despite his header against the post) were awful, and the ball went backwards a lot. Once again a ball wasn't cleared properly for the first goal. Second half, we improved a bit for 10 mins, then came their second goal (again, ball not cleared properly) and we struggled until the subs came on. Why didn't Matthews start? Is he not fit?
Team wise, the keeper, two central defenders, two central midfielders (up to a point) and Ben Williamson played reasonably.
Lots of work to do before Tuesday. My crowd estimate abbout 1300, by the way. Getting worse.

Just don't look like winning football matches. The wins we have had this season were lucky to the most part. Like most people say we played reasonably well for 20 mins but it's too late. Our corners are shocking at least 3 times we went short got tackled and didn't even get a ball played in completely wasting them. RH says he'll leave when we're in a better position but there are no signs of that coming. Ok sacking didn't work last year but I can't see anything beyond someone new to breathe fresh life into it

Miley my MOTM today by a mile. It’s sad to think that if Hollands was fit today RH would probably have started with Hollands and Heslop in the middle. Miley is one very good young player. Loves a tackle, tidy on the ball, lots of energy. Let’s hope the V9 academy keep their hands off him!!
