That's brilliant calling something a shed is pretentious! 😂😂 I think it was well named small, smelly and filled with a load of tools.... its history now though, I do like Bombers naming of the end now "jewellery rattlers" stand all day long 😅😅

Talk of L1/Championship targets were started by & continued by one person, SD. It's his ambition for the club. So no reason why other supporters shouldn't echo those ambitions from time to time. Agreed, we don't look like a promotion candidate atm, but stranger things have happened. Generally speaking, I rule nothing in & nothing out. One reason I don't normally go in for predicting. Time will tell. One thing I would say is that Richard Hill is doing a great job in difficult circumstances & must continue. Just back from a holiday in rural Switzerland and have been off line for a couple of weeks - I can't believe that this debate is still going on. IIRC, it took FGR 18 or 19 seasons to get out of the top non-league division, Wrexham (the 6th oldest club in Britain) have been here 10 years, Gateshead for eight and so on. It took Luton Town 5 seasons to get back. Whilst we can dream, did anyone ever really believe we would just walk into the Football League after a couple of years? This isn't easy as Tranmere have found. I recall SD telling us 4 years ago that the National/Conference would be so hard to get out of - well he got that right. Hopefully the experiences of last season will mean we will be less inclined to make change after change. We have to be it it for the long term. If it takes 6, 7 or 8 seasons, then so be it.

so many people (including our chairman) so assumed we would go up in our first few season in this league.
was never a given - and it still isn't
we are a bone fide established national league team - even our detractors can't claim otherwise anymore

Absolutely, only the 4th season at this level and progress on the infrastructure ongoing as with the team. This season will bring highs and lows so just enjoy, league football is the dream obviously but from where efc has come from the club is at the top of the tree right now. It's all good.

If I remember rightly Scott Wilson was out injured for several weeks at the start of last season. If one looks at the players competing for a forward berth it is the two who are under 30 who have missed games through injury this season.
See that Jason Taylor played against Aldershot and do not see his name listed as far as injured players are concerned.
