Not surprised really, they are the wrong side to 30 for RH.

Not unexpected, but disappointed to see Ayo go. Thought he looked good preseason, was hard done by with RM, had the knack of scoring goals - remembering him scoring at Arlseford in HSC. He tried - when I remember seeing people like Fleetwood not try in previous years. Yes he had one poor game at D&R but even then he showed some passion when subbed. Hope he finds a suitable club. Wish the other two well too but didn't feel either would become Eastleigh legends- I think Ayo could have.

Personally I don't think Stearn had enough chances to show what he was capable of. Think he was unlucky.
In a few games last season Ayo looked our player most likely to score :-) But he was also part of some dodgy-looking defences in the away games, from the highlights.

Always a bit of a shame when contracted players are transfer listed, of course in a perfect world it should never happen.
Ayo- I thought improved as the season went on could defiantly have featured next season. CC - I guess part of the Martin Allen plan so probably was going to struggle to make the team. Stearn - Must admit, I can barely remember seeing him, didn't make a good or bad impression on me.
Of course, just because a player is transfer listed, it doesn't mean a) they won't play for us again b) they will leave Eastleigh FC
As is often the way, time will tell!

Disappointed Ayo been listed seems we be going with the injury prone reda an Cresswell who I think will now struggle to get back to his best after injury. We shall see!
We will not get out this league with over 30's! Just look at the teams that went up a lot of younger players in there. We shall see if he gets some young blood in but with past history I don't think that's going to happen

Yes, RH certainly seems to prefer experience over youth. I think there is only Childs and Bearwish at the club younger than 26. Can't see either of them getting a look in next year. Obviously he may surprise me by bringing in a host of younger players over the Summer. I hope so.

Talk at the fans forum of a striker aged in their early/mid-20s but yes RH likes experience. He was clear that all players should be able to run for 90 mins!

Unfortunately the passion he showed at D&R appeared to annoy RH who clashed with him a few times. Such a shame to see him go - a great talent who will probably have a future in league football. Similar situation with Ross Lafayette too though - showed great potential but didn't get the games yet scored 12 goals in 44 appearances at Dover.

A couple of Sutton fan I know are very excited about them signing Lafayette - They also didn't realize he had played for us!!

So, are we going to have a battle of ego's this season then? Quite possibly! It seems to be a case of 'if the face doesn't fit', then you're out. He made the mistake of letting his feelings show and I think Ayo was the player who RH was referring to at the fans forum with regards to his attitude on and off the pitch. Plus he's under 30 lol! Wish the big man well for his future and I'm sure he'll be missed by a lot of fans.
