Grow up for gods sake. No, im not a footballing genius, that's what ppl get decent money for ie to pick a team, research the oppositions weaknesses and set tactics. I am saying the indisputable fact we can't score and the performances are abysmal and that we will lose tomorrow. Not quite sure why your toys are on the floor when the facts are in black and white.

I would have thought with this weather there has got to be every chance the game will be postponed. If the game does go ahead on a very heavy pitch, all I will ask for is commitment from the first whistle. If we get that you'll hear no complaints from me.

I couldn't agree more, all we ask is that but some on here like dirkiboy seem to think that saying the obvious and not to mention the truth is a crime. We are the laughing stock of the league for gods sake and still you have some on here who are making the team out to be sacrosanct. Oh and by the way, I did go to Swindon and I've bn a st holder for years.

I agree to most of wiilk comments! The last 4/5 games have been woeful. Dover away we showed more passion but we lost yet again. Aldershot are flying at the moment and I'm sure they will bring around 700 with them this evening. It will be a very tough game indeed. The last 2 games in my opinion Ross Stearn has been excellent. Dover away our best player. The only positive would of seen mehki come on and run at them. Ummmm no now he has left Eastleigh. So where do I see our threats coming from? ? Stearn and possibly beano. Going to be a long old game.

Thank you Spitfires, the reaction of some on here are like I'm personally insulting their wives, kids and families. I'm not, I'm factually saying what a complete shambles the team is and how we've hit rock bottom. That is a pure fact I'm afraid. As a ST holder who goes to every home game I fully know how tedious and hopeless the performances have been. We ARE allowed to voice that, the last time I looked it was called a democracy. Try telling a Coventry FC fan, rock bottom, penniless, no ground, training facilities and awful owners they're not allowed to moan. Like I said before some need to grow up and realise on current form we are the worst team in this league.

Thank you Spitfires, the reaction of some on here are like I'm personally insulting their wives, kids and families. No, you tried to do some of that on another thread ('fish-finger eating terraced house dwellers') :-) I agree with you that we're in a bad place at the moment, and also agree that there should be no attempt to deny that. I'm still struggling to see any hint of positivity from you, though, and any ideas on what you think can be done to improve the situation, apart from saying 'it's not your job to do that'. I think the constant negativity in your posts rather grates with some people without some constructive criticism, as I've said before. What do you think of Richard Hill's return, for example? What should the club be looking for in the next manager? A lot of us do know something about football, and business, and we have opinions on what's going on at the club. I think we're allowed to voice those too. People in influential positions in the club may or may not read these threads, but if it makes us all feel better.....

So back to tonight's game... I reckon we'll struggle to get over 2,000. And the result.... Difficult to call, but I reckon a slim win with Beano scoring a goal.

agree, it is difficult to call tonight - just want to see a little less hoof (although a heavy pitch may not allow us that luxury), more attack thinking and if we do go 1 up, not to put 11 behind the ball (as has been the case in recent past - when we used to score) Feels a little like the Leicester scenario – all doom & gloom, caretaker in charge …. Win 3-1 next game – I’ll settle for that :-)

It doesn't matter what I or anybody else on this forum thinks re: the next manager, our views totally irrelevant -no fan has ever picked the next manager. It's sad that a new season ticket holder would know as much about the club and squad as a fan whose been going for years, but they would. As for being negative -football wise there is absolutely nothing to be possible about. I personally don't think we will win again this season after seeing us being beaten so easily by very poor sides recently.

We need a couple of loanees in until the end of the season as we don't IMO have the quality to avoid a real relegation battle, especially if we lose tonight.

We don't really need to have to quality we are close points wise to avoiding it already. York Chester and Torquay away offer us the chance to pick up points if we get 4 we are very close and one win after that will see us safe.
