Bolton had about the same. We gave them 888 originally and then IIRC gave them about 200 more. www.bwfc.co.uk/news/2015/december/eastleigh-fa-cup-tickets-sold-outGiven we are quite close to selling out (less than 500 home tickets left?) I am a bit suprised we have given reading extra tickets. It might not be entirely our decision though, liaising with police/safety advisory group etc

FFS, Why the hell has this become an away game thread when this thread is about our game against Reading. Probably because if they posted a thread entitled "More F&^king moaning about away support" no one would read it!

I see Reading have just 1 ticket left of their 534 seats behind the goal. Guessing they still have a fair few terrace tickets left.
As I type we have 16 seats left plus some some terrace and temporary/unallocated seating.

I see we ended up giving Reading 1,400 & now have around 200 tickets ourselves left to sell.

Yet if you go to a T20 Blast cricket match between Hampshire and Sussex which is a derby despite high away numbers of Sussex Fans at the ageas bowl both sets of fans can still watch together

I see Reading have had an upturn in form just prior to meeting us - their first away win for a year last Saturday, a 5-1 home win yesterday.... hopefully confidence will still be fragile though and if they go a goal behind they won't come back.

Why did we give so many tickets to reading? Don’t get it.game is a sellout, Eastleigh should have come first TBF, Eastleigh fans have had plenty of time to buy tickets, so no home fans that really wanted to go, should have missed out.

Eastleigh moved to Ten Acres in 1957 from their previous ground, Walnut Avenue. The club's record attendance is 5,025 for an FA Cup third round match against Bolton Wanderers on 9 January 2016.

Reading fans intend to protest at Sunday’s televised FA Cup game against Eastleigh after the club failed to pay staff wages in full on time.
Fans are “disgusted” that the club has not paid staff their full wages “less than a month before Christmas”. With the game set to broadcast on ITV at lunchtime on Sunday, i has been told Reading supporters plan to throw tennis balls onto the pitch in the 16th minute — representing the number of points the club has been docked for breaching financial regulations in the six years owner Dai Yongge has been in charge.
“We are disgusted, but not at all surprised, to hear that Reading’s staff haven’t been paid in full for November – less than a month before Christmas,” Nick Houlton, a spokesperson for the Sell Before We Dai campaign group, said.
