It’s going to be tough choosing one this year, for all the wrong reasons. There are a couple of players who spring to mind, but this year I would like to see Dan Barnes added to the list of nominees. He has done a fantastic job all season, and the pitch has got to be one of, if not the best, in the League. I would be interested to hear what you think.

Although I have not seen as many games as some I would definitely from what I have seen choose Charlie Carter. He was the National League player of the month for February and has a double figure total of goals although not playing as a striker.
We have kept a clean sheet in 13 of our victories, but I would not say that any defender stands out.

Carter for me too, not sure if he's under contract? I reckon FL clubs will be coming in for him. McDonnell has also done pretty well.
Defence has been strong, but then it's the one area we have plenty of options. Rutherford (young player of year if there is one), Harper and Camp have also done well as wing-backs.
Pitch has been excellent all season, and it's been quite a wet winter.

I will have to say I agree. Best performance every home game this season. Always a 8/10 at least. As someone who has helped for years on the pitch ( when asked). Barnsey hasn't asked me since I kept going the wrong way with his mower I have first hand experience on how much work goes into doing the pitch. People might like to know, since Steve New left. Dan has been doing it on his own. With the help of Mark Blake. when he is able too. With the amount of games/training sessions on the pitch. Its condition is something he should be rightly proud of. What a superb job Barnsey does. Even getting on the list for groundsman of the year. In the non league awards that i saw on twitter. Also lets not forget the Beer Festival he is also helping organize
As for the players
Oscar for Young player Carter for Player of the year
