Shows how good I am at predicting! With that defensive lineup I thought this game had 0-0 written all over it!

Shocking performance. Not sure what the tactics were in the first half especially. Perhaps a game too far but Gateshead didn't use that excuse. They were excellent and thought they moved the ball really well. Play offs? No chance, the team are fading this season.

And there will be still some people who say the manager has done a good job. He hasn’t the football intelligence as born out with inappropriate tactics and lack of any real work on the training ground. Play offs or not, my money is on him not being here next season.

Woeful defensively, not sure what the team changes were meant to bring. Deservedly beaten, Heed took their chances well but we gave them time and space to do it. \Miracle to make the PO's now and on evidence of the last 3 games we've already shot our bolt for this season.

Well, we're not boring any more, 18 goals in the last 3 home games. Team looked completely flat against opponents who notched their sixth win in a row and were terrific tonight.
We were awful, our usually reliable defence was pulled apart. Three games in six days was clearly too much but the Heed obviously didn't have any problems and we didn't seem to be prepared for it.
Agree the playoffs have got a whole lot less likely (it may still happen, but it would be an away game and we're terrible away anyway), let's see what happens in the summer.

Martin and Maghoma doesn't work and that's obvious to everyone.
There was an animated conversation between Nigel and Lee after Carter's goal and at that point we seemed to stop pressing high up the pitch....that handed Gateshead the momentum.
I don't really see the point in changing the line up so much, realise its 3 games in 6 days but surely we pick our best side today, try to get points on the board, then change the team on Saturday if necessary, given our away form.
Yes, Gateshead were clinical and probably had the rub of the green, but I'm sorry to say that defeat is at the hands of Bradbury.

Blimey, didn’t see that coming.
Gateshead looked very good. 6 league wins in a row from a position of looking very likely for relegation.

Anyone know what the crowd was? I'd have guessed around 3000 again.
The '£3 tourists' saw a decent, if one-sided game, so hopefully that initiative will benefit the club in the future. Lots of them appear to have come late, so we were treated to blocked exits and loads of people trying to sit in reserved seats. Didn't look as if we were prepared for the rush.

pulls no punches terrible interview from a terrible manager. Absolutely clueless and tactically naive and not capable of getting the players motivated. He has been all season. Some may say league position is everything but, unless that is top, it’s nothing in this league. The quality in general has been dire. Not playing his best team and resorting to long ball rather than play it through the middle. As I have said earlier he won’t be here next season no matter what we do in the play offs as he is incapable in this league never mind anything higher.
