I find it hard to believe that there are agents' fees at lower NL level, or beyond. The players are not exactly worldwide commodities, are they? I suppose there is some competition to sign players, but even so.... Necessary evil, it seems. Suppose 10K isn't a lot in the scheme of things. But it's 10K we could have used on something else.
Mind you, I think that if there are agents, and they do earn anything, it ahould be paid by their client (the player in question), not a club. They only benefit players, not clubs.
I'd have thought the numbers are pretty selective the lower you get down this list, I can't imagine a club like Carlton Town outspending Wealdstone (not in the list), for example. Unless Wealdstone (very sensibly) have a 'no agent/fee' policy.
