HMRC and football related creditor paid at court today meaning can remain in National league this season and pre season can commence. In terms of big club Mark corner championship side, lengthy history, decent sized fanbase generally take more fans to away games than a number of league 1 sides. Over the course of last season took the largest away following throughout the national league. Homes games average anything between 5.5k to 6.5k with highest last season around 10k not bad for a ground falling apart. Wouldn’t want any club going out of business, hart of the community and not to be taken for granted by owners just looking to line there pockets or looking for a quick buck

Been going back to Southend a few season now, when we don’t have a game occasionally come along and watch Eastleigh but generally it’s when my boys team are guard of honour Good to know you follow the local side too I used to go a fair bit a fair few years back.

I would have to agree Southend are much bigger club then us, how many did we take to Southend……30-45 souls on Tuesday night or was it Saturday? I removed Southend bringing a good few hundred and made a lot more noise then all of us, maybe we need a singing section, or the lad how used to bring the drum to get the support going. We generally take a good following I think our lowest was around 300 against Halifax away on a Tuesday night last season. Have brought a great following to Eastleigh and I love it being a local one, the away end isn’t really catered for big crowds though Ah yes the away end, needs a lot of tlc as the temporary stand got dismantled, I believe this season the green stand should be getting a make over, not seen much progress has been made yet.

Didn’t do too badly yesterday. Only 15 players as cannot register anyone at this stage. 4-0 win against one of the favourites. The club, staff, management do not know when they are beaten.
The biggest concern will be injuries as cannot replace them!

Well if you manage to add to the squad, might run away with it, saw you had a good crowd yesterday too.
Have to give you a pat on the back after the pre season and ownership problems you have had.

Do you ever get embarrassed at supporting such a mess of a team?

Charlie Seaman scored the winner at Roots Hall today, the last time I heard that name Maysie presumably still watched us home and away #loyal

Do you ever get embarrassed at supporting such a mess of a team? Not at all isn’t the club, staff or team fault is the owner plain and simple. 15 players, minimal pre season and court on Wednesday. Could find ourselves hit with -10 on Wednesday, failing that May see embargo lifted and new signings before we play you

Can Admins move this thread to the “totally irrelevant & nothing to do with Eastleigh” page.

Again does it really matter, we have many saints fans who support us too.

Can Admins move this thread to the “totally irrelevant & nothing to do with Eastleigh” page. See 2 posts above from Maysie as to why thread regards EFC. Playing to different rules thanks to leagues softness, could have brand new team come Friday.

Yes wasn't a dig in general just at Maysie, remember his post on this thread regards our small away support, he used to be one of them maybe he should have more respect.
