Pathetic comment. Not the players or fanbase fault due to chairman mismanagement that’s why government, FA and national league working with us right now. Sure you’d be saying the same if your shoes! 1 person versus 8k can be removed from a club very easily if needed. Southend fans have listened to the same rhetoric for years and years, but kept turning up as the stadium gets more **** and the team slips down the leagues. Southend fans know the FA, National League won't and can't change anything. It's down to the fans. You have got to look at the protests at games, outside the chairman’s house and the season ticket renewals to see fans are doing their bit. We are a well supported club with arguably the best following in the league particularly away from home. We are moving closer to the VNL deadline so if not addressed we will either be removed or incur points deductions as per league rules. Fans will always support their team no matter what but it is part Chance saloon. The fans in the main have stayed because we have a determined and excellent management team who worked wonders last season under the circumstances

It's worked really well, keep it up Standing outside with placards will really help remove him Indeed it has worked with him now revealing the sale price, the debt and willing to sell roots hall seemingly would appear he has given up ambition for a new ground at long last. By him revealing this it has enabled a consortium to work closer to strive to get a deal done. Needs to be concluded before Tuesday. First pre season game tomorrow so would question how this is going ahead with 14 players, the suggestion is the HMRC has been paid to enable to embargo to be lifted, speculation only at this stage but being a big club at this level which such a long history would be devastating for the football world to see another club die due to lack of financial governance on clubs.

I really hope they can turn things around and stay in business. But I'm not sure what qualifies them as a "Big Club". No real success in their history? not a massive fan base? Other than being an ex-league club and if that qualifies you as a big club then I can't wait til some of these other "Big Clubs" get back to our league - Darwen, Gainsborough Trinity & Workington!

HMRC and football related creditor paid at court today meaning can remain in National league this season and pre season can commence.
In terms of big club Mark corner championship side, lengthy history, decent sized fanbase generally take more fans to away games than a number of league 1 sides. Over the course of last season took the largest away following throughout the national league. Homes games average anything between 5.5k to 6.5k with highest last season around 10k not bad for a ground falling apart.

I would have to agree Southend are much bigger club then us, how many did we take to Southend……30-45 souls on Tuesday night or was it Saturday? I removed Southend bringing a good few hundred and made a lot more noise then all of us, maybe we need a singing section, or the lad how used to bring the drum to get the support going.

Southend fan this season rather than Eastleigh then? Been going back to Southend a few season now, when we don’t have a game occasionally come along and watch Eastleigh but generally it’s when my boys team are guard of honour

Down to 14 contracted players , water turned off at training ground but Manager is staying for now. We play them away in our 5th game. Might get an away win then, probably more chance of bore draw

Although the conduct of your players and management at the silverlake was shocking. Recall comments on our social media of Richard hill being abusive to our media team

We generally take a good following I think our lowest was around 300 against Halifax away on a Tuesday night last season. Have brought a great following to Eastleigh and I love it being a local one, the away end isn’t really catered for big crowds though
