OK, so the prediction league is back on this forum!
Its just for fun, but everyone is welcome to join in.
Rules
- You simply need to predict the result of each game in terms of the final result being either a HOME, AWAY OR DRAW.
- Each week i will post the following weekends games, and all you need to do is copy and paste my prediction, but change the HOME/AWAY/DRAW to what you think the result of each game will be.
- You get 1 point for each correct prediction, and a bonus 5 points if you get 6 or more, and a bonus of 10 points (very rare) if you get 10 or more correct. EDIT: then the bonus points go up in increments of 5 (so 15 points for 15-19, 20 points for 20+)
- All predictions need to be posted on the forum in the applicable Prediction League thread, prior to the Kick off of the first game that weekend, so watch out for Friday night games and early Saturday kick offs. I will make you all aware if there are early games etc.
- If you know you are going to be on holiday for a couple of weeks and i haven't put up the fixtures to last the length of your holiday, then just PM me your predictions and i will post them on your behalf, but please make sure you give me good notice to do this, in case i miss it.
- If for any reason you forget to post any predictions, you will be given the equivalent of the lowest score that weekend, but will not accrue any bonus points.
- However, if you fail to post any predictions for 3 consecutive weeks you will be disqualified (this is purely to guard against people that might drop out, but cuts down on my checking/workload)
- I will then post the league table each weekend after i have checked all the results, usually up by the Sunday.
- I run the league in 2 half season sections, we do the start of season up to Dec 31st, then start a new league from Jan 1st to end of season, just to keep it interesting and give everyone a chance who may not be doing so well in the first half of the season.
- We only run the competition for games that involve teams in the National League, but do include Major Cup games involving those teams aswell.
I think that's about it.
So please feel free to join in the fun and pit your footballing knowledge against your pals.
Good luck all, & If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.
