There's one replacement, then. A right-back. Welcome, Brennan!

Has made a couple of first team appearances for AFC Bournemouth in cup games and played regularly for Weymouth last season. His grandfather is the late Gerry Gow, formerly of Bristol City.

Brennan is a great signing, excellent technically and one of the most tenacious players I have seen so have no doubt he will become a fans favourite even in his short spell at the club.

The fact that he created a goal must be a positive. I think our lack of goals in recent games maybe in part due to the fact that we have not created many goalscoring opportunities, as opposed to missing a hatful of chancres that a proven goalscorer would put away.
I do wonder how much Boreham Wood's minds will be today focused on their forthcoming F A Cup tie against Everton.

Loan extended to end of season - hope that injury he sustained last night wasn't too bad

one would assume not. I know things are bad, but if we are extending loan spells for players with bad injuries then that is a high level of incompetence.

With 10 league games left even if he plays in half of them it might be worthwhile as I do not think we have a right back in the first team squad since Josh Hare left, and I do not think that Tjay de Barr played five matches during his loan spell.

Never realised until now that Brennan was the grandson of Gerry Gow, who played 375 games for Bristol City and also played for Man City.
Is the club twitter feed just playing with our hearts or could there be more in it?

Yes they were, great news that he has signed. Now that is a very positive move, I'm sure he would have had a lot of interest and LB must of convinced him there's a decent build taking place here.

Made up with this. Best player on the pitch when selected.
