I am missing something here. I can not find any reference to this being off on Eastleigh or Met Police social media. Where did you find this out?

May be confused because Met Police are splitting their squad on Saturday
Home v Eastleigh FC and Away v Knaphill FC

On soccorway also if you look at met police fixtures, also cancelled, so not sure what's going on there

It is still a live game on other sites, such as Futbology. The Police FC twitter site states, at the end of their game on Tuesday, that a split squad take on Eastleigh and Knaphill on Saturday, as pointed out earlier on this thread.
So unless the club itself publishes anything different I think its safe to assume game is still very much on.

Well worth a visit to this lovely facility and ground (decent clubhouse), don't think we've ever played here(?) Although I do remember playing on the pitch behind the open ended goal for the Supporters team v Hampton & Richmond way back when. Last time I went Lewis Beale and Ben Scorey played for Met. Another time I went by train I think I got off at Thames Ditton but you could carry on the branch line from Surbiton and visit Hampton Court.

I do remember us playing against Met Police in the F A Vase in what was virtually Don Gowans's last match as Eastleigh manager. Perhaps ironically someone chose that match to try and break ibto the changing rooms.

Well remembered. Pre Paul Doswell that Vase run was one of my early memories of watching Eastleigh FC. It was a really big game having won through 4 rounds of the FA Vase to get there. Met Police ended our run by beating us 3-1 at ten acres. Some interesting names from the past: www.fchd.info/cups/favase1994-95.htm
