Huddersfield have thanked Danny Cowley for keeping them up by sacking him. Any Championship club looking for a manager would do well to make him an offer soon.

Totally agree. What he and Nicky did at Lincoln (and to a lesser extent at Concord and Braintree) was superb.
Looks like the Terriers have a habit at going through decent managers at the moment, David Wagner got a good job at Schalke too, after getting Huddersfield promoted to the EPL, and even keeping them up for a season against the odds, despite insufficient funds. Wonder if the chairman knows what he's doing?
Hard to tell what the Cowleys' best level is, but I'm sure they were learning all the time at Huddersfield and would have achieved a better position next season, if they had been allowed to.
Almost as strange a sacking, IMO, is Nigel Pearson leaving Watford after taking them close to survival, after struggling all season, with two games to go. I wonder of there's something we haven't been told there.... Perhaps the Cowleys could do a job at Watford? :-) Don't think it'll happen...
