Well cancelled ftb, the club will let us know the date when it's rescheduled. All to do with potential snowflakes tonight.

Snowflakes indeed. world has gone crazy. an inch or two of snow used to cause chaos, now even the possible threat of an inch or two of snow cuases things to be called off

There was an AMBER weather warning! The club was right to postpone and hold it when everyone could attend.

I must to admit to having some sympathy for this poster. I know of several events which were called off yesterday, all because of the risk of a light snow shower, which was the forecast at 4.00PM yesterday afternoon. I actually attend a Christian house group and several cancelled. My one didn't and on route I had to pick up a blind couple with whom I had a 200 yard walk to get them to a car. Okay we had to be careful, but I do think we have allowed ourselves to get very soft, and things are now cancelled that involve no more than ordinary winter weather.
I do see why the club called off, and it is not a criticism of EFC for so doing, but I do think we do need to grow a pair a bit more often.

It may have been OK for the people who live locally, but what about Kenny and Ben Strevens? I'd rather that they stay safe and reschedule for another day.
