Eastleigh Football Club is delighted to announce, Stuart Solly has been appointed Club Secretary. Stuart is well known to the club and its supporters, being a supporter of the club for many years.
“I am very excited to be joining Eastleigh Football Club at this exciting time, I’ve never hidden the fact that I’ve always wanted to be involved with the club on a day to day basis and this was too good an opportunity to turn down” explained Stuart. Amongst his duties will include match day administration and club secretarial work.
Kenny Amor, Chief Executive said the following, on the appointment “We are pleased that Stuart has joined the Club, he is the ideal candidate to integrate within the Club and we look forward to working with him”.

It is good to have someone local who has been active at the club for a number of years. However is he a board member and is he match secretary as well?
I also read on the Who's who page that Ryan Cresswell was one of Ben Strevens's assistants, but some of this information on there is out of date.

Don't think the football secretary job is usually advertised, its often just an internal appointment (as when Paul Reid was our sec for a few months). Anyway best of luck to Stewart Solly
