OG? I'm sure Macca scored it from where I was. What did you see?

OG? I'm sure Macca scored it from where I was. What did you see? I believe Macca claimed the goal but certainly sounded like an OG in match reports.

I definitely saw it come off him. I don't think he meant it but definitely should go down as his goal. Great set up by Macca for the second goal too.

That has to be the strongest team we have ever fielded in the HSC. What was the crowd, and how strong was the Aldershot team?

I gleaned from a Shots supporter that they fielded about 4 first team regulars, although there could have been one or two members of the 1st team squad. Their goal scorer, Fabian Robert is on loan from FGR. Crowd, 250? And no segregation!
Have to say, our 4 youngsters, plus the 3 subs played well & actually looked stronger the longer the game progressed.

Was the mackoy stand closed for this match?

Mackoy was closed. We were stood right by the goal which was 100% Macca's. Beano attempted to shoot but missed, the ball then bounced off of Macca's knees or something and into the net; I'm pretty positive he was the only one who touched it. Bit of a frustrating first half an hour. If it was one of these games statistically analysed on TV, I'm certain the statistic for possession in their third was about 5% in the first half, but then constantly near their goal for the second half. A deserved win in the end. Flitney made us laugh with his usual decision making and kicking ability.
