Lost 2-1
ended with 10 men after Hoyte was injured and we'd used all our subs.

Early season indicator that we won't be pushing the top 5 this season. Woking are no great shakes and we've not been able to get a result!

I know it's early days but you can just tell that this team isn't good enough to challenge for the tittle. Think we need to drop Togwell and start Matthews.

Think there is a long way to go before writing the season off, but picking up injuries already is not a good sign with so many games close together.
Think Togwell and Matthews are different players so not sure swapping them would help.
Whats the score with Taylor and Cresswell? Two big players that we are missing at the moment.

Agreed there is a long way to go but titles and PO's spots are won away from home and you can't go to places like Bromley and Woking to pick up one point. There are 69 points available so you want 35+ I would think away points if sustaining strong home form through the season. On the day any side can be beaten but realistically how many will we get from Tranmere, Orient, Dagenham, Hartlepool...if you say 4 draws 4 points you would be looking to find 30 points from the remaining 51 available......that's why you must win at place's like Bromley and Woking to make things easier overall. It is not impossible.....win 11 games away and there is 33 to add to 1 and that's 34 points. All ifs and buts I know, for some reason we play very well against the big teams, and not quite so with the rest. I haven't seen the two away games so what is the set up? Playing not to lose, or playing to try to win? On the reports of the games we dominated the first half in both matches but failed to take any of the chances, therein I guess lies the problem at the moment.

Looks like we've got exactly what could be expected, a solid, strong experienced team that should hold their own at this level. Not entertaining is it though, hardly ever has the opponents keeper been tested in the first three games of the season that I saw anyway. Long ball, fighting for possession etc etc Greener attacking is always posiitive and a threat, is he a midfielder? Let's hope our new midfielders on left/right settle and improve. Personally I like Stearn and would like him to be given a good run of games?

Problem is we're picking up too many injuries so early in the season. MA brought one of the best young fitness coaches with him as his assistant, but we let him go. Could turn out to be a big mistake. I expect RH is a bit old school on things like injury prevention.
