saw this in another thread but can't remember where. once new stand is done, guessing it will be approx as follows
mackoy: 2,300 long terrace: 1,200 shed end: 800 (terrace 500 + 300 stood on flat areas) blue stand side: 1300 (seats 1100 + 200 stood on flat areas)
so around 5,600 by my calcs

Take away, say 350 spaces to enable segregation & we have 5250. Realistically I would guess on the rare occasion we're going to get anywhere near that figure the licencing authorities, EBC/police, will review the situation & tweak the capacity by a few up or down. All I would suggest is that a heck of a lot of under the radar, un-announced work needs to be done to get the capacity increased.

At home to Bolton in the cup 2 seasons ago the attendance was 5,025. I think the mackoy is nearer 2,600, I'm sure I've read this somewhere before. I think the new stand is adding around 800 seats so I think the capacity will creep just above 6,000 when it opens, but a realistic sell out crowd of around 5,800 with the segregation in the mackoy stand

Short of hosting a major club in the FA Cup, a limit of 5,000-5,500 is not going to bother us for a year or two. A pedestrian entrance on to the "Link Road to J5" for fans to get on and off the site and walk towards Chestnut Avenue would surely help any future development.

Agreed nobad, physical capacity of the stadium is one thing but the numerous logistics behind a big crowd and the limits on number of tickets we are allowed to sell/people permitted to attend a game is quite another.
Of course all this seems pretty moot as we've only filled our stadium to above about 80% capacity once in the last decade or so (Bolton of course).
The league could potentially test this (not just the FA cup), that would almost certainly be as a result of us having a very successive season - we can hope!

I believe that 16 x 19 (-304 seats) rows are zoned-off as a sterile area for segregation, leaves 1986.
