Heard rumour that Ryan's looking to get back into League football by returning to the North.

Another one who was quite happy to take his wages after getting himself injured (it was self inflicted at Barrow), and then wants to go as soon as he is fit again.

Contracts can be wripped up if a player is unhappy and wants to return closer to their family.Plenty of examples throughout football. More than just a rumour.

So if I am a northern (or southern/midlands/east/west for that matter) league club manager looking for a defender, where would I start? Oh yes. Lets have a look at a National League injured player. Don't think so somehow? Apologies to Ryan if you are fully recovered. And if the rumour is true, best of luck finding a new club wherever.

Looks as though the Northern club concerned have been put off by the players current salary of £2000 per week as well as his on going injury problems.
