very sad news of his passing today.
Would a minutes applause in the 6th minute of tomorrows game be a fitting tribute to the young lad?

This is very sad but why does football have to commemorate every tragic occasion that hits the media? There is no connection with this story and our club. Whilst I am very sad for his parents, I don't think this is necessary.

Jesus it's only 1 min , a 6 year old has lost his life...would it really hurt just to clap for 1 min.

This is different. I also feel we are subjected to too many minutes silence, but this young boy has done more for the humility of football than anyone I can remember. Football, particularly Premiership football, has been so wrapped up in profit over the past years, but this young child managed to find a way to transcend that. I for one am not ashamed to say I wept a tear on hearing of his passing, however certain it was, and would be prouder to clap his spirit for a minute than any I've done before.

I agree. This is different. What young Bradley has done with his love of football, is to show what a big caring community football can be. I think in Jermaine Defoe we have also seen the other side to the modern footballer. Jermain is a credit to himself, his family and football and amidst this most terrible tragedy the relationship between these two has been truly heartening. RIP in young Bradley, and well done Jermain. Football needs more people like you.

I do get you point with these kind of things if done so frequently can lose any kind of meaning especially in there are no direct links with the club itself, but I am glad they are doing it. This story is bigger than football. Bradley and his families story has touched millions. There is not much that unites people in todays society and it is nice to come together to give them our support. For me personally it is so refreshing to see how clubs with bitter rivalries and people who have never met him, have come together to 'adopt' Bradley. The support for him and his courage has restored a lot of my faith in humanity.
