Out at last.... www.eastleighfc.com/2017/07/05/eastleigh-start-away-to-bromley/away on first Sat (5th Aug - Bromley) then home on Tue (8th - Sutton) and the following Sat (12th - Dag and Red) In Oct and Nov - we have only two home games in each month, both within 3-4 days of each other. So no home games between Oct 1 and Oct 20, and between Oct 25 and Nov 17. That's a bit crap. Perhaps some FA Cup games to make up for it? Local derby at Christmas/New Year is Torquay. Home on Boxing Day (at the moment). Also Woking at home on Dec 30. Second half of August and March/Easter look to be difficult.

On holiday from 7 to 20 Aug, missing 3 games, bad timing

Shame to see Torquay at the Lane on Boxing Day. No public transport that day will mean a low away following.

Bromley first up on their brand new 3g surface.
Finish up at Solihull (which if IIRC was our final away game last season!)

If you split the fixtures into 23 pairs with the 1st and 2nd match forming the first pair and the 45th and 46th match representing the last pair then each pair contains one home match and one away match.
Not as much midweek travel as there has been in previous seasons and it could be that our longest away trip on a weekday is on New Year's Day.

5 scheduled clashes with Southampton
Aug 12 Aug 19 Oct 21 Dec 9 Feb 10
That's not too bad. Hopefully when we do clash it doesn't affect our gate too much anyway. 200-250 at a guess?!

I'd love to know how many of our fans are predominantly Southampton fans who come and cheer on the Spitfires when they don't have a home game or when they don't attend those extortionate prices for away days???
There's a challenge for someone.....!!

Is anyone going to the woking away match by train? Major reductions in SWT services throughout August due to massive engineering work at Waterloo. Probably all right going up but the last train back may be a problem - coming up as 21.50 to Basingstoke, change there for Eastleigh
