There are some of us who cannot afford the time to help with the chores that need be done around the club. However there is another way we can contribute and that is by supporting the club by using the amazing facilities that have been made available to us.
I have had a fantastic evening in the Sherwood Restaurant with a couple of mates and I can honestly say that I had the best steak that I have had in any restaurant in Southampton full stop, bloody good price too. [Can't wait to try one of those great looking burgers]
On Fathers Day last Sunday I took the Mrs and kids down for the carvery and "Hers Truly" who has never been down to the club "although my lad and I have been regulars for 13 years" was massively impressed. Not only by the venue, value and quality of the food, but also by the way Stewart and his children mucked in with the cleaning of tables and generally helping the other guests enjoy the day.
Our next event is the comedy evening 30 June, where we have booked a table for 10 and I have every confidence my guests, most of whom have never been to the club before, will have an experience that will make them want to come back for more.
Supporting the club in ways other than attending games does not start and end with giving a helping hand whenever it's called for, as big a help as this is. These fantastic new facilities deserve our full support and we owe it to our club to ensure that they are the massive success they deserve to be.

Well said mate. You are absolutely right. There are 101 ways of supporting the club, doesn't matter which ones you choose to do...just support your club.
