Would one class Port Vale as being in Burslem or Stoke as I think that Burslem may have a lower population than Fleetwood? There may be other similar cases to this.

It used to be a separate town but apparently is now part of Stoke-on-Trent. As a separate town it would be slightly smaller than Fleetwood.

I can't think of a smaller place in the FL but the Scots beat us hands down with a Premier League team from a town of only 5,491 - the club formerly known as the Dingwall Victoria United (the 'Dingwall Victors') and Dingwall Thistle (the 'Dingwall Jags').

The real 'Tranmere' failed to turn up, awful performance from them, most teams would have beaten them yesterday, they stood off FGR and they scored three good goals have to say. Likely to be title favourites next season but I'm not so sure, could be as wide open as its been for years.

That'll be Ross County, then. Formed 1929 from the above clubs.
