"....in negotiation with a new investor..." "We are confident that this investment will secure the long term future of the club...." "....about to enter the final stages of these negotiations...." "...not in a position to offer a new contract to the present management team."
That all sounds a bit ominous to me.

It does. People who have bought their £99 season ticket(!) for next year are getting nervous. They thought it was a bit cheap at the time...
There are rumours that Billericay want GH, and he has been talking to them.
There are other rumours that Graham Westley might be going to Kingfield. Not a rumour that sits happy with Woking fans.
Can't see Woking doing much better than Garry Hill..... wouldn't have complained if he'd come here.

There are also rumours going around that the new investors are John Terry and Frank Lampard!! I'd be surprised if they brought into woking. A random club really, no room for expansion at their ground, and Leyton Orient, although they have money issues, would be a much sounder investment in the long run.

Even more reason to hate that club then.

Bizarre statement.
The fact that their manager of 6 years has (presumably) left the club is mentioned as an afterthought. Pretty disrespectful.
Surely a departing long term manager deserves his own statement?!

Appointed Anthony Limbrick, a Southampton FC coach as Manager, with Geoff Chapple as DOF. Any views on that, people?

Bit of an "out there" appointment, high risk for sure.
Has no experience of management or the national league. I note he is only 33, must be one of the youngest ever national league managers.
Obviously a lot depends on the finances he has available for next season.
Wouldn't be filled with optimism if I was a Woking fan I must admit.

If they've got a DoF then the new owners must have some serious money to play with, there is no logic to having a DoF otherwise is there. If they start signing players like Michael Cheek who is too good for National South with Braintree...(why don't we get him actually) and that lad down the road at Sutton, with an unusual first name??? then they will mean business especially if keeping the player we raved about from Woking as well.

Going on their websites I've got the names....Woking - Gozie Ugwu...Sutton Utd - Roarie Deacon. Can begin to imagine a very good Eastleigh team being built if we got those two and Michael Cheek from Braintree....a decent goalkeeper is a must too. :-)
