So, we have more ups and downs, twists and turns than a rollercoaster, and what a rollercoaster of a ride it's been!! Let's get behind the team today and show them our support and appreciation, and hopefully we can get the 3 points!!

Not expecting anything on the pitch as recent games have been poor. The off field developments are of more interest. As for show the team appreciation? Other than giving them the usual match day applause, they've achieved nothing this year and I hope most are moved on in a proper clear-out. I expect the current bottom 4 will go down today and the current 4 play off positions will remain the same too. Bring on next season.

Yes, the battle to avoid relegation is the most interesting thing today as far as the National League is concerned. Braintree will be pushed to stay up, York may have a chance.
Aldershot will have to mess up big time to avoid the playoffs - their games against Tranmere should be good viewing. A Tranmere v FGR final wouldn't be bad.
I've enjoyed the league season as a whole, with Lincoln being outstanding, and being pushed until near the end.
It was a good game when they came here earlier in the month. Apart from that one, only the FGR and Aldershot games have I found of any great entertainment at the Silverlake in 2017 so far.
RH has done well to steady the ship at the end of this season, but the ship will be refitted radically over the summer, and hopefully things work out better next season. Not expecting much from today - let's hope for a pleasant surprise.

Pretty dire in terms of entertainment, but, we Eastleigh fans have become accustom to that this season!!

If hill is staying on feel utterly cheated by the clubs total lack of ambition. Dire playing style,no passion and no innovation. More of the same to come-something to look forward over the summer

More of the same to come-something to look forward over the summer I agree with your view about Hill, I am not convinced either. However, I can't agree that the club lack ambition? The Chairman has had his fingers burnt this season that's why he's turned back to Hill. The football at times was utterly dire today especially in the first half. The team much improved in the second half but this game captured our season in 90 minutes- distinctly mediocre. Let's look towards next season now and a fresh start. The off-field plans and facilities look impressive. No lack of ambition here either.

I would say if you're going to reward that style of play that showed a lack of ambition. This is a guy who 2 years ago said he could do no more and was burnt out. What's changed? Very limited manager and we have no chance of promotion under him. This appointment won't have ppl rushing out to get a season ticket will it?

Meaningless today do not think the last 10 games will have an bearing on next season. Think as the signings are announced the mood will change dramatically.

Presumably , we are just in a very desperate position where we can attract nobody better and hill might have a new mortgage to pay off.
