So what is going on here?
Good keeper, why has he been frozen out the squad?!

Madness. Stack comes too far out of the goalmouth, so when our opponents build up an attack, he's never in a position to defend his goal. We as fans are obviously missing something somewhere!

Given what has gone on this season this is far from madness.
Stack was in goal during our mini revival and RH doesn't fancy Clarke, doesn't mean he wants to keep Stack either he is just working with what he has till this season is finally put to bed.
Think there will be a new number one next season, hopefully one that will play the whole year.

Practically everyone in the ground at home games questions Stacks selection over Clarke's. I got the hump when Childs was dropped by MA after exemplary performances. If 2000 people can see it why can't the manager?

I'm not saying Clarke should necessarily be first choice, just seems odd that he seems completely out of the picture at the moment. Still, as we all know, things can change very quickly.
I think if you look at the goalkeeper situation at a whole this season its been all over the place, a fair microcosm of the whole season for Eastleigh FC IMO.
I rate Clarke and if we'd kept Flitney (who left after some poor man management from RM) then I would have been happy with those 2 for this season.

Has left the club today. What a waste. One of the best keepers this club has ever had, and not even considered for a place in the team... Especially after so many good performances...

Has to be a financial thing we are just whittling the squad down to its bare bones for the remainder of the season. I would not be surprised if 3 or less of the squad last Saturday were still here for the start of next season

It's been pointed out that Graham Stack has another year on his contract and we also have Nick Hall on loan from Portsmouth, plus Mark Childs hopefully is on the road to recovery from his injury at Gosport. I'm therefore not totally surprised that Ryan Clarke is being allowed to go at this stage of the season. Anyway, I'm sure Wayne Shaw would be happy to pull his gloves on if we needed to make an emergency signing before the season ends :-)

Certainly financial reasons for this. Funny how MA said it had to be done and it's continuing after he's left the club. Maybe he did get something right! I'm sure Clarke had a 2 year contract? Personally I'd rather had released Stack, but I'm not the manager!
Next season cannot come soon enough to be honest. Some new faces, hungry for success. I wonder if Stew's plans of promotion have been put on ice for a couple of years, or if we'll really really go for it next year? Seems to be we'll build a team the next couple of seasons and see where we stand after that.

SD doesn't do ice. Rest in the certain knowledge he is planning for us to win the league next year. Planning for anything else, for him, would be unthinkable.

I just hope SD does not publicly announce automatic promotion as a goal for next season. It put real pressure on us this season and set fans expectation levels far too high. Happy to use next season as one to build the team, including getting the right manager in. Even though he has done an ok job in stabilising the team, IMO that should not be RH.

I think RH will be the manager next season.

Personally, and as I've said before, I don't feel that decisions like these should be made by our 'caretaker manager'. I know a lot of people think it's in the bag for RH but what happens next season if Stack is unpopular with a new manager?
