Not quite sure of your logic bomber but most normal people, if they didn't like the price of something wouldn't go. Not moan and bleat about it and then still hand over their money. If you thought a car was too expensive would you still buy it? A holiday? A pack of eggs? Just need to grow up a bit rather then spend time planning how to cause another club grief. Mate, you could bore the robin off a box of starch.

Football is unlike any other "product". If you don't like the price of certain food, there are 1000's of others. If you support Eastleigh, you want to see Eastleigh, the fact that AFC Stoneham, Winchester or Liverpool, might be cheaper is irrelevant, you support Eastleigh. So in that regard, your choice, is not really a choice at all. As an old friend of mine at Chelsea said, when they were putting the prices up, "It's not football they're selling, it's a drug!".

Logic??? We don't like the price of food, but we eat it.....We don't like the price of alcohol, but we drink it.....We don't like the price of petrol, but we buy to drive.....We don't like the price of clothes and shoes, but we buy them coz its against the law to walk around naked.....We don't like the price of holidays, but we pay it for a break from the norm.....And if we don't like the price of entry to a non league match...We are entitled to express our disgust, while still going along to support the team....and being a smart alec trying to tell adults to grow up a bit is not adult behaviour but child like. I personally wouldn't do any of those things above if I didn't like the price. Strange that you would. So you'd pay a fiver a pint if you were told the price? £1.50 for a litre of petrol? £2k for a week in Spain-I bet you wouldn't if you had the choice.

Thanks to TSSC and tenacres for clarifying the actual pricing. It does seem the ex league clubs' tickets tend to be more expensive. I suppose if they had the vision to offer realistic seat and terrace prices to attract and cultivate more support, they wouldn't have got themselves relegated down to our level in the first place.
I thought Torquay was expensive last night, but paying the home club a lot for my ticket seems far less painful when we take three points from them.

What you need to do if you are a tight git is look at it another way, Some clubs charge alot and others dont, So to see Eastleigh away pay the higher price in the knowledge you are getting home games at a very good price , over the season you then wont feel ripped off knowing Eastleigh have eased your worries !

I don't think being a "tight git" has got much anything to do with questioning prices that are clearly designed to rip people off. Were those fans who protested about the £62 away day ticket a couple of years ago thus getting an away day cap at £30 "tight gits' or people who were just genuinely worried about the future direction of the game they loved?

£30 away cap in the Premier League is excellent but then they can afford it, actually could be £20 as it makes little difference. However £21 for away fans at non league level...yer having a laugh. Would like to see more of the TV money into the next six divisions to help clubs grow and prosper which totals 140.

Perhaps we need to remember the generosity of Stewart providing such cheap coach travel to get to the away games. You'd have paid more than that admission fee just for the travel at the start of the season so let's enjoy our away days in the knowledge that we are lucky enough to offset these high prices with cheap travel and cheap home games/season tickets. Cheers Stewart; we have a lot to be thankful for 👏👏👏

I just wouldn't go as an away fan to any ground that tried to rip me off simple as that. Work too hard for my money to waste it on some greedy parasitic chairman

Nobody is being ripped off if prices are transparent.Unlike the football league where tickets are advertised and u buy thru the home club our league is pay on the gate and that is where the shock often comes. but there is no consistency at all not even in regards to what age a senior or junior is which can cause some angst at the turnstile. It would be useful if EFC actually used their OFFICIAL website to actually give this info for away games with details of away travel. Shudnt really have to go on a Supporters site to get that information. Frankly the Official site is useless

My oh designs websites and believe me, the club site is archaic and not fit for purpose. £18 too much tbh when some championship clubs are charging barely more than that

bit hard to defend the efc web site when its never kept up to date. It is the worst in the league by far. Not even match reports. Not everyone uses social media to keep up to date

I was told last week a new website will be up & running "soon". Mind you we were told at least 2 yrs ago that it would be replaced. Let's hope it is soon, can't disagree with any comments along the lines that it's not fit for purpose. A website should be a great advert for a product, our current one is not.
