Hiya all,
Tranmere fan here,
To be honest for me this is a terrible game for us, we have a real habit of ending non-winning runs and can very much see this happening on Sat
We are a real jekyl and Hyde team, excellent in one, horrendous the next. Take last week, should have been 9-0 up at half time ( and that is not an exaggeration ) but ended up drawing 2-2 and could easily have lost, our main player is Andy Cook who has been brilliant this season
We look to be falling away from the automatic spot which for us is poor considering we have a massive squad and very good players for this level
We are vulnerable at the back and Steve McNulty is now suffering from age/ his weight, if you have pace or height up front you could well be winners on Sat
At this stage would take a draw so going with a 2-2

You had me feeling really confident, and then you went & said "pace or height up front" & ruined it & brought me back down to earth!

You'll take a 2-2. I'll take a 2-2. You organise from your end and I'll have a chat at our end. Think us giving you two goals might be quite easy, think you'll struggle to give us two. Goalie throw a couple in perhaps - cheers, nice doing business with you.

To quote a famous Tranmere fan " Even men with steel hearts love to see a dog on the pitch!"

To quote a famous Tranmere fan " Even men with steel hearts love to see a dog on the pitch!" Stick Martin Allen's dog on the pitch - not much height but certainly could have pace up front ๐ (might give the crowd a bit of entertainment too...lol)

The only dog we need is a retriever to collect all the balls from our goal๐

With Macca now back there might be a chance of a goal... Problem will be our leaky issue at the back!

Dugdale was awful for us- so would be exactly the type of thing for him to score a winner against us

I am getting the train to Southampton Parkway, I know the ground is a 15min walk but is it a relatively easy one?

Easy walk as long as you go through lakeside, could be daring and walk on the grass verge round by the motorway junction
