It's a confidence issue as nothing else makes any sense does it? Six games, three blank sheets, two games with one goal, and one with two goals. When you're not scoring goals it hits the confidence. We've been screaming now for three seasons for an out and out goalscorer, for whatever reason we don't seem to get it right. Such a player is going to cost a lot of money, remember Crawley spending big on Tubbs £55k and 40 goals to win the league....Fleetwood on Vardy, fee undisclosed 31 goals to win the league...that's the type needed, a goalscorer of that quality will inspire confidence in his team mates...."you get the ball to me and I'll do my bit" and they both delivered. It is easy to say it but the club has to first identify the player and then be willing to smash the club record transfer fee. Rumours about John Akinde may be way off beam, if you go to www.transfermarket.co.uk he is currently valued at £383k.....

Seems to me that Eastleigh's rapid rise and consequential success has attracted a few people that feel a sense of entitlement for their £5 odd a game, and are vociferous in social media. To be honest I draw a parallel with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City new breeds who believe that they should win everything and have little patience.
Its time to give your heads a shake and realise that you can't have it your own way all the time.

Love the siren. Very appropriate. It gives a warning of an impending aireal bombardment. Which time after time results in no damage and there are no casualties!! Very very apt!!!

He is top scorer in League Two, his fellow leading partner Bogle of Grimsby was sold to Wigan in Jan for around £1million. Barnet wouldn't consider anything less then £750k. It will never happen we need to find the next Akinde. Remember they signed him from Alfreton and essentially got them promoted

To be honest I draw a parallel with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City new breeds who believe that they should win everything and have little patience. Its time to give your heads a shake and realise that you can't have it your own way all the time. To be fair, I don't think a lot of people on the forum are expecting us to win everything. I think this point has been discussed before on other threads. We saw some remarkable progress up until the end of last season, since when it hasn't gone too well, and clearly some mistakes have been made (and have been recognised as such). Sure, they may be some mindless whingers on here, but I've seen a lot more reasonable attempts to ****yse what's been going wrong and to discuss what might happen in the future (particularly with the way this season seems to have been written off and everyone being told to wait until next season, when great things will be happening). A lot of people on here do care what happens to the club, some of then even appear to know something about football and have some business acumen ;-) which is why they're speaking up - they mean well. So I don't see tarring them all the the same brush as being particularly constructive. To be honest, I get irritated by the 'happy clappers' sometimes too! A successful enterprise looks to improve itself continually, and all that? Having said that, it's a fine line between constructive criticism and mindless whinging. Also, your '£5 odd a game' jibe seems to imply that these people are just season-ticket holders. I'd have thought the PL glory hunters that you compare people here with wouldn't have the stamina or patience to turn up every week at the Emirates, Stamford Bridge, Old Trafford and the like. My impression is that some of the most negative posters on here, in my opinion, only seem to turn up occasionally, or after free games. At least season ticket holders attend regularly and can see a bigger picture. Not to say that this forum shouldn't be open to everyone. On the last post, I think Barnet were talking about £1M for Akinde only last season. I agree £383K would not be acceptable to them.

It's the amount of money being spent, the lack of success and the way it makes us look to every other club. It damages the pride

Watford - 2013-14 they had 4 managers before Christmas and finished second in the Championship -That's our problem we haven't had enough managers

Think this was 2014-15, otherwise you're right, although some of them weren't there very long:
Giuseppe Sannino Óscar García Junyent Billy McKinlay Slaviša Jokanović

I hold my hands up, but it was 2014/15. And going the first 15 games unbeaten is hardly a reflection on managerial status is it, especiay when the last one of those four came in 8 weeks into the season. Purely down to the players, no need to change anything on that front.
