Another win today (3-0).
Looking through their results seem to have won every game for the last 4 1/2 months.
11 wins albeit one was a penalty shoot out win (following a draw) so I guess you could say doesn't count.
That's quite a record.
Promotion this season?

We went to watch them again today, despite the rain!! We were very impressed with how they play. There are a lot of skills on the pitch, Chelsea especially! They also work as a team and display a lot of passion on the pitch. Goalie also has a set of lungs on her, you can hear her claim a ball from the other end of the pitch.
We're going to try to get to more games and I would recommend others do too. Free football, and you get to see goals scored by Eastleigh!!
Well done ladies.

A good record although the team in first (Southampton Womens Reserves) have a 100% record in the league.
Not sure how many will be promoted, that will depend on the Southern Regional Leagues plans, their Premier Division is running with only 9 teams at the moment and the Division One North & South are running as one division with only 10 teams in it. That means there are upto 17 available spaces available in the league to give it 3 divisions of 12. The league recruits from the Hampshire County League and from Oxfordshire, Berkshire & Buckinghamshire so in theory almost all of Hants Division 1 could be accepted into the Southern Region League.
Other factors could also take hold, the league could decide not to revive the second Division One & teams can for various reasons decide they don't want to go up, cost & time being the normal factors in that with away games being as far as Milton Keynes or Reserve teams deciding they don't want to progress past county level.
I think they, barring a major slip up, (& they have only played half their league games), will finish 2nd and be offered promotion

I often go and watch them but couldn't make it today. Agree with grumpy that the skill, passion and commitment shown by all of the ladies means the games are always enjoyable to watch.

The ladies will also be away to Southampton Women 1st Team in the Semi Final of the Hampshire Cup on 19th Feb. They won the Quarter Final 8-0 against Team Solent today. They are 4th in the Southern Region Premier but with a 100% record & games in hand. They normally play home 1st team games at AFC Totton.
I think more should be made by the club of the Ladies success so far in this competition, they were the only County League side in the Quarter Finals & beat Shanklin from 3 levels above them

I agree that more `official` notice should be made of their efforts
