Three Pound for "The Spitfire" Matchday Programme, usually full of information, but not yesterday v. Woking Saturday 28th January - Full of errors !
Page 14 First Team Squad Kit Sponsors - Two players shown do not play for us anymore - Pipe and Bird, both sold to Newport!
Page 22 Spitfire Junior Quiz - With No Answers! (Sorry Kids)
Page 24 Spitfire Supporters Club - Welcome to Macclesfield! (I am sure it should have been Woking)
Page 28 Spitfire Quiz and Wordsearch - With No Answers!
Page 37 Referees Profile on Neil Hair - Wrong Referee, should have been Alan Young.
Page 39 Eastleigh Scholarship Trials - Advertised for Monday January 2nd - Missed it by Three weeks.
Page 49 Full Page - Elvis Tribute at The Hangar - Advertised for Friday January 27th - Really, Been and Gone.
Page 50 Up next for The Spitfires - We take on Woking at Home in Four days time - Unbelievable.
Possibly there might be some more errors, but I am sure others who were robbed of Three pound might be able to assist.
Someone must "Proof Read" the Programme - You would like to think!

Yep - and along with the factual errors full of typos. Appreciate as a growing club there will be teething problems, but it is something to improve further.

I wonder if part of it is due to the fact that a programme was presumably produced for the postponed Macclesfield game and some of that material may have been reused for the Woking game.

I am sure that explains some of the errors but there are so many typos. Also some things were known before the Mac game. I think it is either: lack of staff; lack of competent staff; and or lack of systems - or possibly a combination of any or all of the three! I'm sure it will be sorted.

My favourite typos were in one sentence on MA's page. The squad didn't need cleaning out (suspect clearing out unless we were thinking of taking all their money) but certainly severally cut back (does this mean we should have regular clean outs?) - assume severely was meant!

My favourites were in the section on Adam Dugdale.......CREW ALEXANDER !! Also there are a couple of other moot points with the programme, but hey ho, that's football.....

Anybody who pays £3 for a programme must be insane anyway.

I wonder whether people feel this is an isolated case. I think that sometimes contributors make errors that would not necessarily fail a spelling or a grammar check and there are quite a lot of words in the programme and many different contributors from all areas of the club.
I also formed the impression that there was doubt at one stage who would be editing the programme for this game.

I have just tried the Impossible Wordsearch on page 29.
No problem with Seven of the names, but could not find ODOFFIN.
I could only find DOFFIN!!!
Where is the "O" from the bottom line?
Shoot the "Proof Reader"
