The dream all over in a few minutes & a pretty chaotic first half defensively.
I guess its perhaps not a massive surprise given the gulf between the 2 teams and the fact we had Red, Creswell, Partington & N'gala out.
Brentford were so clinical it seemed like every half chance they had went in!
Shame we didn't put up a better fight but there we are :0/
Onwards to Forest Green. Without wanting to be too pessimistic reckon we will up against it to get a result.

Totally abysmal. Everyone should be ashamed of themselves. No skill, passion or belief at all. A really pathetic display on the biggest game in the clubs history

Just shows how much of a gulf there is when the higher league team are on form and the lower league team are not. To be fair the squad was far from at full strength and it showed , am not cricising cos I am not a manager but we seemed very weak up from and it was too late to change it by the time we did. Brentford were terrific everything seemed to come off but they had soooo much room to express themselves it was just a very bad day at the office, great support but it knocked the stuffing out of everyone with the early blitz. A good day out all the same a friendly club to visit mayb in the future and good luck in the next round. We need to still be proud cos f a cup has again given us cheer this year. Back to the league now plenty of games to go we just need to get sone form again and work hard.
