Its been quite a year for Eastleigh FC!
3 different managers & many different players.
Started and ended with FA Cup fever (Bolton & Brentford).
Off the pitch our crowds have averaged over 2,000 and we had our first ever 5,000+ gate/sellout, Bolton.
The new clubhouse has moved on at quite a pace moving from just an idea to the build being well under way.
I guess the major thing we'd probably all identify as disappointing would be our league form - P46 W17 D15 L14
Who knows what 2017 will bring?!

It can only get better, that's what 2017 will bring. In the NLP yesterday their reporters gave their reviews of the season so far, it was not nice reading.
Sam Elliot: Budget wise and player wise Eastleigh should have gone for an experienced manager in May instead of September like they did. I can't remember the last time a novice manager won the National League. They had a big budget to work with and it wasn't going to work....But what does work for Eastleigh? My view is Eastleigh should have had a Ronnie Moore or Martin Allen in there already. They've got the budget, maybe they should have gone for the best of Non-League rather than the Reda Johnsons who come for big bucks.
Rather painful to read if you're an Eastleigh fan and an honest view. We know the players are talented and probably as a unit they've found it harder than expected on the pitch, everyone wants to beat the so called big boys and that's what we've become, we're a target. It's not the talent that is the problem, its the mental aspect and something Martin Allen will get right, he will install belief and confidence in that dressing room. If we can get a PO spot I believe we will do it, a tall order from where we are, but then we are Eastleigh right!!!
Martin Allen is Mission Impossible.......this will self destruct in 10 seconds.

We are 7/2 to make the playoffs.
Sounds about right to me

Well, we're unbeaten in 2017 and long may that continue........ However, both the imminent transfer window and the number of injured players (some long term) causes problems for MA, but we should have faith in him to bring in the right players to ultimately have the best 'team'. Credit to the lads we've got though - having to play a different line up each week can't be easy and new lads have to start sometimes only an hour before games. Nice to see our goal machine getting back on form too :-) I'm sure their confidence is growing and seeing over 1200 of us making lots of noise will certainly spur them on #twelfthman.
Good luck to the lads and all those involved in EFC - such a proud moment to get to the third round in consecutive seasons. See you all on Saturday COYS
