What a beautiful day for a game of football. I have a good feeling about today and I'm going for a comfortable two goal + victory. Goal of the season today also. Is that pushing my mystic meg predictions ?

I'll go for a 2-1 or 3-1 to us, Beano to score coming on a sub after we've had a frustrating first half :-P
Mind you, that was my prediction against Welling too.
As long as we're careful if someone kicks the ball out for a free-kick if a player is injured....

I predict a slow start, Guiseley to play well, and the game to be 0-0 at half time. Eastleigh to wake up second half, miss several presentable chances, Guiseley to miss a great chance to take the lead, us to win the game in the 82nd minute, through a Beano volley. Results to go our way, and this forum to be full of talk about how we should be hammering teams like Guiseley, how the tactics were all wrong and that we are just not good enough to finish in the play offs. I predict I will say, don't care, lets just win our next game. Am I mystic Meg or what?

Another awful game and Tubbs yet again useless when coming on Funny how we all see things differently. I think Tubbs looks ahead of his team mates still on wave lengths and that's why he does not stand out to some. He even called Partington a dick when ball wasn't as expected and wrong side of him to shield it. He never loses possession and it's him, Partington and Drury that stick out like a sore thumb. I just think Tubbs is lost at this level and others aren't up to his standard. I promise I won't be sarcastic and take the pi55 again about last weeks 4-0 prediction with my pi55 take today if it means lost points. Someone please tell Payne to take a touch before shooting.

If Tubbs isn't at the same level as this team then that suggests that Eastleigh are not close to being a league two team and in all honesty we are not a league two team, we are a conference premier mid table team! Sorry, National League mid table team.

The posts on here, so far, are being far too kind. This was DREADFUL, absolutely DREADFUL. The one bright spot, was when the announcer gave the Eastleigh MOM to Turley. His first two touches after the announcement was to skew the ball 40 yards from where intended and then to put the ball about 60 feet in the air. This goes down as one of the worse games of football I have ever seen, certainly since we have been in the Conference. I am sure some of you can come on here and will come up with some complicated tactical analysis of where we went wrong. I'll keep it simple: Passing awful Ball control awful Vision awful Pace none Plan none I could go on and on. This was so bad it almost defies description. Oh and just for the record, by some margin Guiseley were the worst team I have seen this season. At the end we were hanging on for a point. Terrible.

Really poor today.
To play that badly it's probably fair to say it's a positive to get 1 point rather than 0.
Other results went pretty well.
We need a lot of hard work in the next week if we are gonna have a serious chance of getting a top 5 spot

Pitch was terrible - but without it we wouldn't have scored :-)
Otherwise much the same as Welling. Where was the pressure game we played against Woking, Bromley and Chester? Payne and Reason in midfield not the answer. Guiseley did quite well, again hard to break down. Deserved a draw.
Am I being harsh in blaming Flits for their goal by either not setting the wall up properly or not covering his far post properly? Good strike, but....
After our game, Welling have won their last two (including a win at Tranmere today) so we must have given them some encouragement.
Tubbs looked more involved when he came on today.
Will Grimsby be deflated at having their last tilt at the title disappear last night, or will they just beat us as usual?

A wind up..simply crap. Guiseley 'keeper never had to make a save in earnest all game. If by some freakish turn of events Eastleigh make the play offs I'll predict now it will be embarrassing. I don't mind losing, but please f***ing try!!
