Would I be right in thinking SOE is Socially Owned Enterprise Callum?

That's a good point about the pitch callam,, I thought it suited are style. We are moving the ball a lot quicker with the squad we have at the moment. Well done to Ben house and also a mention to Joe McDonnell, l thought he had a very good game. 👍

I see that local teams Sholing, Hartley Wintney and Wimborne won through, but Christchurch lost on penalties. Let's hope we don't get Harley Wintney then.😂

Two contrasting games but very happy with the out come. One observation for me is the bench, on Saturday we changed three all at once and the pattern of play didn't really change and in the Tuesday game when Greener and Dan Smith come on I thought it put Torquay on the back foot, my point is the bench is much stronger this year giving us more options to change or freshen up. Fingers crossed for Saterday.👍 ⚽️

An enjoyable game in all, fitness level looks pretty good at this early stage with a lot of pressing football . Good to see Alex back and looking fit ,but as pointed out by others Joe Tomlinson was the stand out player.

At least we had a proper ground in the Wessex League days. Here's the club in c1955 playing in someone's front garden in the Hampshire League.

12 March 1955 at Walnut Avenue - Swaythling Athletic Reserves (dark shirts) v Bitterne Nomads (white shirts)
That's absolutely brilliant , I've never seen that before. What's the big dome in the background ?

As Ive said before, I don't think this is ment to be a copy but you do recognise it as a spitfire. Looking at the logos attached you can identify them as a spitfire. I'm sure the club will make subtle changes to the badge over the next few years.

Make your our own mind up but I think all in all fans have got to like it with its small imperfections.

For some reason I'm getting a good vibe about our club. It seems to me Ben and Jason are assembling a very balanced squad on a smaller budget. Maybe, just maybe this could be the year. I do have to pinch myself sometimes and remember how far Eastleigh have come over a short period of time and these pictures put it in prospective. Attachments:

Really like the way this team is lining up. Good mix of youth and experience, fingers crossed they can gel as a team 👍

Some interesting stats. I do remember Fanimon coming to the club Callum, with the all the gossip about him being the fastest player in the world, the only thing is he couldn't take the ball with him.😂
