Just watching Hilly's pre match press conference, basically pleading for full vocal support tomorrow night..and that includes the travel rug mob in the seats. 😀

It’s great that we have good supporters like you, just what the club needs If l can pr!ck the conscience of a few lazy buggers to support the club on their travels, maybe the added support could help the team get more points on the road.

I note with interest that Stewart himself bemoans the awful away support.

So really what you’re saying is your fellow season ticket holders are the ones that are looking at a cheap day out and don’t put themselves out. Well I don’t fall into that category , as I say I am a supporter of around 10 years, I don’t do all games, yeah maybe I look for a match against an ex league club rather than a smaller or similar sized club much the same as Eastleigh, yes I would look out for a great cup tie and go to that. Doesn’t mean i don’t support the club any less. Literally by definition it does.

Heard a rumour today that Quigley will never play for Eastleigh again after some sort of altercation / confrontation with S D, and this "personal issues " thing is a lie. Really hope it's not true, has anyone else heard anything? No and I'm not bothered either. He plays or he doesn't play. Simple as that. What happens inbetween those events wont affect my life, nor should it bother the curtain twitchers either.

I'm right in suggesting that over half of our glory hunters, sorry away support, will be in the uncovered end. Hopefully it won't bucket down. 😃 So, Chuckles, do you want the fans to go to the match or would you rather they did not? A few years ago you would have played in front of a couple of hundred, this subject has been covered a million times, you sound very bitter. Let the GLORY HUNTERS as you call them make their own minds up whether they want to go to more away games , it’s not down to you, I bet a lot of them have a great day and then want to do more away trips. The club is gaining momentum all the time, you can’t expect 500 or so to go every time , if you love the day out and can spare the time good on you, Eastleigh isn’t Man Utd. Just embrace the cup run and dream of your 500 plus crowd halfway up the country on a wet Tuesday evening.. Bitter? I go to a lot of away games so I'm not missing out, and yes they ARE glory hunters. Those that only do away games when it's either an important fixture or heavily subsidised. I've turned up at Borehamwood and there's been about 35 Eastleigh fans there. We're all asking each other why do we bother? Because it doesn't help the team with such pitiful support. Aldershot brought 400 for an FA trophy game, a much bigger proportion of their average home support than we'd muster for a similar fixture. The vast majority of those who might have a "great day" as you put it are probably long standing season ticket holders who've had years to do more away games but usually don't because they're either bone idle or tight as the gap between two coats of paint. You'll see, on January 24th, Borehamwood away, no subsidised transport, bet we don't get 50 fans attending. It must be heart breaking for Mr Donald to have his goodwill gesture chucked in his face when people decide to stay at home rather than use their own funds to support the Spitfires.

That was a mental game. Eastleigh were brilliant, then imploded with the sending off. Fans created a decent noise, despite the again ridiculously poor turnout for a local derby. Amazing game and result. It was not so long ago we'd get a couple hundred turn up for a home game. The weekend before Xmas is often a lower attendance and with the cost of everything we need to put our away following into perspective. Well done to those there, bet they enjoyed themselves. Are the 400 shots fans that turned up last Wednesday avoiding Xmas? Are the 10 coachloads plus independent travellers going to Newport not skint after the festive period? Give over. Our away support is bloody awful and it's about time it wasn't.

Struggled throughout the 2nd half but managed to hang on. Glad it went straight to penalties as it was chuffing freezing. 700 home supporters. Was it a lickle bit chilly for the missing 4000 that were there last week? Great away numbers for the FA trophy...400. Proper support that.

Good result. Poor game. Embarrassing support. Crap draw. assuming that you're being sarcastic about the support. Not where we were. Could hardly hear a thing. The odd pocket singing here and there occasionally. Too many woodworm supporters who won't be there Saturday.

Each away supporter should be frisked before entering the ground. Disrupting the match because of unpaid wages at their end has nothing to do with us. They can bugger things up at their ground not ours.

Why did we give so many tickets to reading? Don’t get it.game is a sellout, Eastleigh should have come first Rules state up to 15% of capacity.
