Bromley reach the Football League after beating Solihull Moors on penalties in the final.
There are many ex-FL teams in the National League, so it was interesting to see two teams who hadn't been there before contest the final (maybe we can do that next year). So well done to them.
They weren't too impressive when they played at the Silverlake, I'm not sure how their style will fare in League 2, but many of the teams going up have done well (having said that, two of them are coming down again).
Also not sure if they will have to rip up their 4G, as Sutton United had to. One of their goals against Altrincham in the play-off semi came from a long throw bouncing ten feet in the air over several defenders.
Congratulations to Boston United for joining us too, having won the National League North playoff final. I'm very pleased about that one. The National League South playoff final is tomorrow - Worthing have the momentum going into that one, that will be one of our closest teams if they get there.

As one artificial team exits, one enters? Going artificial does seem to stimulate bigger attendances throughout non league, certainly Harrogate, Sutton Utd, and now Bromley have entered League 2 quickly after getting one. I know Dorking Wanderers are ripping theirs up.

Yes, didn't see that coming. Winner in extra time.
While we're at it, I see AFC Totton narrowly failed to take Havant and Waterlooville's place in the National League South, losing on penalties to Salisbury in front of a sellout crowd. Sounds like there was a ticket allocation cockup there, with some Totton season-ticket holders not able to buy a ticket, but plenty of Salisbury fans getting one.
