0-3. Not a great way to end the season. We finish 13th.

We were so woefully second best today, as has been the case on too many occasions at the Silverlake this season.
Will be interesting to see who's in charge and who's on the pitch next time we line up. Feels like a real overhaul is required.

Halifax needed to win it, they were a bit cagey to start with but once they had scored there was only going to be one winner.
The last 30 mins were a stroll for them, the worst thing wasn't that we didn't try, it was the glaring gap between the teams. They were physical, winning the ball, and they knew what to do with it. They could have had more if they had taken their chances near the end, but they didn't need to. We did OK for half an hour but showed the same deficiencies as for a lot of the season - the midfield didn't win the ball, the centre-backs were the ones hoofing it up the field, and the two forwards had virtually nothing to feed on. Maguire is the only one capable of providing a service and he wasn't starting. When he came on he was bogged down by the general malaise of the rest of the team.
Halifax did well, and they've had a great season, but they didn't have a serious test here and I'm not sure they will get past a visit to Alty in the playoffs.
It looked like everyone was relieved to have stayed up and that the season is now over. 13th was a flattering finishing position, but it was very congested in the bottom half of the table all season. It's all up in the air what will happen in the summer.

Never ever seen supporters so uninterested in a football match in all my life.
