Referee told Stewart Donald penalty was given for handball? WTF!!! If you can see a handball that NO Gateshead player appealed for, please point it out coz I can't bloody see one. They worked their socks off that night defending their goal and winning 3 priceless points, but for a cheating referee who probably felt sorry for Gateshead. They were still playing in the 97th minute when only 5 extra minutes were added on only confirms the poor referee was trying to help them out. Being robbed like that, those two points might be all the difference come the end of the season in either direction, to get a play off spot or to avoid relegation. This referee needs to be stood down until he learns the rules of the game...handball indeed...the twat.

Nothing visible from the highlights. National League refs . Can't see why he would feel sorry for Gateshead, though. Good result (especially after the reverse fixture here) but obviously could have been better. Nice gesture from the Heed to give free food to the Eastleigh fans that turned up. Great effort from those who did. Hope the team went over to thank them this time.

Yeah fantastic Gateshead gave the travelling 14 free hot food for their epic journey on a Tuesday night. Driver Myles got the lads home safe and well, then went straight to work..what a man, great credit to him.

Myles is fan of the year every year, deserves an award (although he won't want one). Top man!

Myles has been doing this kind of selfless devotion by driving a minibus full of supporters to away matches all over the country for well over a decade comfortably into our Conference South days. Myles is a really outstanding servant of the cub and people on here are right to acknowledge his contribution to the club.
The last match I went to I saw Myles in the Hangar, but in my view the club could do a lot more to treat the fans who use the Hangar with greater respect.
Actually I thought that the time added on at the added games was the minimum that could be added, but looking at the highlights it seemed that after the penalty we kicked off and had a shot on goal.
