I see this game is on at the Lake tonight (V Bournemouth 7:30 KO).
Q. Does anyone know if we can park at the club tonight (i'm assuming a much lower crowd)? I've tried to find info, but there is nothing on the clubs main website, other than the confirmation of the game and the Kick off time. I've asked the question on the EFC FB thread on the game, but no reply from anyone at the club, which is a bit disappointing. I haven't been to a single game this season, but am thinking of popping along to this. Assuming it will be the Kids playing with maybe a couple of first teamers who don't get much game time.

Something usually appears on Twitter the afternoon before the game.
I'd guess most of your assumptions would be right. We've been playing about half first-teamers in previous rounds, with no league game this midweek, it might be nice to keep some of them fit.
AFCB played David Brooks in the last round as he'd just come back from illness, not expecting to see any 'stars' tonight.

Thanks HL. Rich Montigue has just replied to the FB question. Parking is first come first served, so i assume the car park will not be full with a crowd below 500.

No more info about game arrangements.
Both teams on their respective Twitters - nobody from our first team, all development. I've seen the goalkeeper (Louis Mees) play for Alton this season. Seen a few others in earlier rounds.
David Brooks playing again for AFCB. Will be good to see him. Suspect he might be the key player.

Its bizarre that the club are not pushing out info and marketing this game to its fanbase. What happened to the new Fan's liason officer (i might have his title wrong)?

A very good B'mouth U'23 side ran out easy winners, but our lads didnt give up and kept trying. The difference in class, movement & pace was plain to see. I enjoyed it though and it was great to catch up with a few of the old faithful's.

Yeah, Brooks showed his class and the Cherries had some other good players too.
We battled well first half and went in only one down at the break, they turned it on in the second half and scored some nice goals.
Basingstoke beat the Aldershot kids 5-0 in the other semi, but don't suppose the Shots faithful will care as their first team won 1-0 at Wealdstone and Torquay lost, so they are almost safe.

1-0 at HT, 6-0 at FT. did Bradbury give the HT talk? Tough defeat for the youngsters but from all accounts, they've played well this season and have done great to get this far.

The side was 100% EDS U19 players with the exception of Honeysett and, half time sub, Dotse, who are both second year U18 players. The EDS side had played Woking on Monday (12noon kick off) in the National League U19 Youth Alliance. Today they are away to Boreham Wood in the same league.
Not sure, with that workload, why they were not bolstered by some of the contracted former EDS lads. Sunny, Simpson, Bragg, Wilson. Perhaps their loans don't allow it or was their a 'cup tied' element. I didn't think there was but not sure.
They battled away, especially in first half, first touch, ability to beat a man, strength were all somewhat below AFCB U23s, as you would expect.
The two semi finals make a mockery of the seniority of the Cup, understandably so nowadays. Perhaps it is time for Hants FA to give the National League sides and above the option to not enter and without a severe fine. Of course you may then have to rename it from Hampshire Senior Cup to Hampshire 'not so' Senior Cup. At present it's more like the Hampshire 'can't be bothered' Senior Cup.
I am sure there is still an argument for getting 'experience' for youngsters but it really is no longer a Senior Cup.
