I see on the report from our Supporter Liaison Officer that he is sourcing Klappers to help enhance atmosphere at the Maidstone FA Trophy game. Please give it a miss, surely we are better than joining the likes of Leicester and Fulham that encourage such an annoying and 'plastic fan' option. Perhaps I am just out of step with the times and should look out my wooden rattle from back in the 60s, reckon I could also make my own rosette.

Where would that idea have come from? I can't see any indication that the actual supporters have been asked or even liaised with. They'll be changing the badge next without asking us - oh of course, that already happened.

I can see how it’s not for everyone, but I think it’s good to encourage these sort of initiatives. There is all sorts of different ways of experiencing EFC on a march day, from people who quietly go by themselves with some sandwiches, to big groups who go and will have a few drinks, more corporate types who have food and those who like to make a noise etc etc.
I support the club in its aims to cater for any/all of these groups, Eastleigh doesn’t and won’t sellout so providing something to enhance the experience for some of the fans is not going to be at a detriment to other fans IMO.
Hope we get a decent turnout for the game. Maidstone lost again today and look in a lot of trouble at red bottom of the league. Really great chance to get to the QFs

He did ask in the fan survey what we could do to improve atmosphere and I assume this is the kind of thing some fans want. I don't like them personally but you can't blame him for trying.

The biggest way to improve the atmosphere at the Lake. Is give us some attacking football. The only game we had a decent atmosphere (from the home fans)was Dorking. First half the place was rocking. 2nd half it slowly went flat. I wonder why? Oh was it because we played to not concede. Well that how I saw it. How about using Come On by the Hives as the teams are due to come out. Just an idea.

We were 4-0 up at half time so no wonder it was rocking, as for playing not to concede, surely that's what we want to do when we have 2 players go off with serious injuries in bloody horrible conditions with the points already in the bag. Why would you even think of giving Dorking any hope or risk more injuries? I think some supporters are really expecting too much.

Fair point on the 2 injuries. The point I was trying to make. Go for it from the off. Create a few chances and the crowd will be up for it. Playing tippy tappy aint gonna get anyone excited. Stop worrying about what teams can do against us. But set up so that we can get them turning and getting them thinking about what we are going to do to them. Personally think our manager needs to put more trust in his players.Let them express themselves. More than he is allowing them too
