Something behind the seens is not right imo.... the club is not going to go forwards anytime soon! Got a ex owner who owns the ground with ex employees of his running the club, all seem a bit dodgy IMO.. At any point this club could go down the wrong way!! We get no communication now days......

I wonder what the FA and National League make of it all it can't make for great viewing when a quarter of the stadium looks like a construction site?

We aren't the first club and definitely won't be the last to have part of their ground closed off. Wrexham have had one end of their ground condemned for years! The way I see it, the stand needed some major retrofitting for safety reasons, so the club started the work, decided to expand the project by adding the classrooms, toilets, concessions etc, but the cost is not cheap so we are doing the work at a pace that the budget allows.
It's not like we have endless piles of cash available, and it's not affecting our attendances as we are far from capacity, and on top of that. having fans on here melting down about the stand deflects from the on pitch issues.

Makes no sense to me to start a project then stop half way through because of lack of funds. Seems like bad planning to me. It’s also killed the atmosphere that used to be generated from that end.

Poor planning/wasn’t planned at all. Let’s hope it’s sorted for the start of next season

There have been posts which have indicated that the much-reduced away capacity has affected the total gates. For example, I think it was mentioned that several thousand Notts County supporters, and also large numbers from other 'big' clubs, would have bought tickets if the seating capacity for that stand were at its original level and not just the bare minimum. I would be really interested to know why there is no claim against the main contractors and architects for the structural failure of a stand which is very new. Surely, they must have responsibility to pay to restore the facility to the capacity they were paid to provide.
