Anyone know what’s going on with this? Shame that we did not manage to fix it up over the summer

Am sure there’s enough seats for those who wish to sit there as it is. Be great to see some full stands , obviously depends on how the team does, then if required refit the rest of the seats.

There are currently no seats at all in that stand. Work appears to be ongoing on the groundworks the full length and breadth of it.
I think the original question was around this and if any part of that stand will be in use for the start of the season, especially in view of where to house visiting supporters.

Ah I see, I haven’t been near the ground since end of last season. Obviously it’s not a 5 minute job so hopefully all up and running in due course. Guessing away fans can have more terracing in the meantime. If seats are needed for those unable to stand then a few seats in the main stand adjacent would have to be the solution . Not ideal though.

I would like to pick up on this topic again. Can anyone tell me what are the plans for the green stand and why isn't the club putting out a statement to say what is going on.

There is a construction of blocks popping up in one corner of the stand. Toilets maybe, anyway 3 rooms. Does look months away from Being finished rather than weeks.

I would guess that the number of seats installed will be the same as were there previously, unless access is provided from the seating area to the "amenities" being built underneath the stand. In that case some seats are bound to be lost to provide space for those access routes. We can only guess though, until they decide to tell us.

Did hear a steward say it would be seats at the bottom and standing at top.
Are the green seats still at the silverlake? I’m not fussed about the colour, but presumably if we are having new seats they will be blue.

So with the silence is deafening on this topic, am assuming the stand underneath areas are being built, so that’s bars, toilets, class rooms, possible new changing rooms, as was muted in the Donald era. Obviously blue seats on top, am really looking forward to it when it’s completed.

If I have a criticism of the management of this club, it is that they do not keep their supporters up to speed with progress and forward planning.
Do they not realise that in supporting a club, supporters do not only want to discuss what is happening on the field but progress and forward planning the club is making off it as well.
This adds to the enjoyment of being a supporter, the sleepy lack of activity on this forum is indicative of the attitude of the management.
Perhaps Stewart was a little over enthusiastic in his ambitions for EFC but he communicated his dreams and aspirations with the fans and stirred enthusiasm and emotion. We all knew when he was planning a new stand or improving the lighting or how he was going to improve the drainage. We were well informed and it showed in the vibrant activity on this forum.
The current management give nothing away, what harm would it do for Tom or A.N.O. to come on here and discuss what is going on with the stand, to be honest, I find it a tad insulting that they feel that us minions do not need to be informed and can simply wait and see what they are planning for us.
I see this as poor, lazy management as well as losing out on the fans input as to what could/would improve the experience for us, the fans.
Either they don't care, or perhaps they feel they know better.

I suspect they are too busy to even think about it. When Kenny departed, it left only Tom as being an active member of the 4 owners of the club, and he's now running the whole show. Sure he will be getting help with certain things by the other people at the club, but its a lot of responsibility on his young shoulders. I believe we have a social media team at the club, so maybe that group could sit down with Tom for 30 mins to get updates from him and then they could push that info out on behalf of the club through the usual social media platforms.
Q. Didn't this get asked/answered at the Fans forum that was held a month or so ago?
