First half I think we battled well, and frustrated the team that is pretty likely to win the league. If Smith had taken a clear chance then we could even have gone into the break with a lead.
Their goal soon after the break blew out of the water any plans we had made, we tried but they are clearly a very good side, and managed the game well. Their second goal seemed to be Mr B ignoring a basic rule of management - 'if the opposition have a corner, don't make any substitutions'. He did, the sub lost his man, and they scored.
The team was much better set up than on Tuesday, I thought - but again we missed Pritchard, as without him there is nobody to deliver the set-pieces we depend so much on. And again we weren't great up front again - that's two matches in a row where the opposition goalkeeper hasn't had to make a save.
Good crowd, excellent away support, and both sets of fans seemed to be enjoying themselves facing each other over the divide in the green stand, until later on in the game.
The feeling is that it won't get much better for the rest of the season. County flew down here yesterday and signed three loan players yesterday in the transfer window - different worlds.

I can forgive today's result against a team destined for promotion but the stark reality is its just one win in 14. Pathetic by anyone's standards. Relegation is now a slim chance and not impossible with the team's dreadful form. How backwards have we gone.

Certainly wasn't expecting anything today. If we could just work on set pieces that be good alot of poor ones today.
Let's go a get a big performance and result next Saturday vs Aldershot.

Yes, most of them did swap ends at half time - it did seem to get a bit unpleasant near the end, though, with a few things thrown - that was more what I was referring to - less of the 'enjoying'.

Played well in the first half, but there was always one winner yesterday & it wasn't us. I do wonder what direction we are going in at the moment, we can't let this freefall go on much longer
