See Thomas Gruzewski, from our second year Academy team, is in the England u18 Schools squad for tomorrow night's game against Northern Ireland in the Centenery Shield match. This features the four home nations plus Ireland all playing each other. I understand this game, and all others in the competition, will be shown live on the BBC Red Button.
England then play Scotland next week and the week after, 8th April, play Ireland with the game being staged at the Silverlake.
Of course Joe Adams had also been selected for this squad before he got his contract with Wigan Athletic.
There have been three games played in comp so far: Ireland beat Scotland, Northern Ireland beat Wales and Scotland beat Northern Ireland. If you go to BBC Iplayer and search Centenery then these are all listed 7nder Centerery Shield, so I assume a similar search tomorrow night should offer up the live England game as well.

My other plans have been cancelled so might be able to make this. Really good that the club is hosting games like this, reflects well on the whole set up

A 1-1 draw in front of 1,071 but somehow after 2 wins and a draw from their first three games England are bottom of the table on one point. All quiet as to why except the BBC commentators saying admin error. One of the Irish sites suggested England had their first two wins defaulted as they had played an overage player in both games. If so that just sounds incredible.

England captain Josh Stones was the overage player! Not sure how the admins got that one so wrong. Particularly, when you consider the amount of paperwork and trials processes to be even considered for the full U18 side.
