Wonder if we will play a stronger side for this game? About the only thing we have to play for

The team have won through four rounds of the competition, but against Havant and Waterlooville of the National League South (1 division above Farnborough) the team was a mixture of first team squad members and EDS players with Ross Flitney in goal and a similar team may be played in the final.
Having come so close to winning it last year it would be nice to win it this time around. Actually on the one occasion we did win it we were fortunate to get a reprieve when Aldershot who had comfortably beaten us in an earlier round were thrown out of the competition for fielding an ineligible player.

Didn't hear a thing about this at the ground yesterday. Several people I spoke to didn't know it was on.
Clearly a Hampshire FA event rather than an Eastleigh FC one....

I do not know whether the fact that the next match on this ground is against Stockport on Saturday. It will be interesting to see whether it gets a mention on Saturday.

No surprise it wasn't mentioned the last tie wasn't when we played Totton, more important things to announce like some under 11s boys score or an under 9s girls team etc etc..

the match should have been at a neutral venue such as Basingstoke Town.

The venue was decided ages ago, it's just a coincidence we got to the final.
Presumably the date was decided ages ago too, but it would be more likely to have got a better crowd (and stronger lineups) if it was been held late April/early May as a lot of local Cup finals are.
IMO the competition is being devalued by the strength of the teams that will be put out at an important time of the season - well, at least it is an important time of the season for Farnborough, sadly not for us.

I would hope Bradbury wouldn't be in charge tomorrow night? Luke Hardy has managed all the other games...
Also, not sure I could deal with a 2nd Hampshire Cup won by a caretaker manager from Portsmouth 🙂

There is an inconsistency with announced concession prices....
On the Match Info published today it says over 60s, but when you come to buy the ticket it says it's over 65s that qualify for the concessionary rate.
I believe it's over 65s, as it's a Hampshire FA event and it was stated as such in all previous info.
If anyone from the club is reading, perhaps you could clarify? Thanks.

I think that with more and more leagues having playoffs then late April/early May could be potentially near the playoffs so there is no perfect time to hold the final.
I seem to remember that in the club's first season in the National League South we played an epic two legged semi final in March against a Farnborough Town managed by Frank Gray. That season Farnborough Town reached the playoffs and won the Senior Cup.
I think in recent seasons the final has either been played at the home of Southampton, Portsmouth, AFC Bournemouth or AFC Totton.

The 2019 final was played here at the silverlake, so it’s been a few years since it was played at a league ground
