Announced as new manager.
Didn't he lose the H&W job a while ago?

He did but he was there for 7 years and took them up to the National League during that period. Also managed Bournemouth into the League One play 9ffs whilst Eddie Howe was doing his stint at Burnley.

The key question is what is his relationship with Richard Hill like?

I really hope Jason is kept, he does a great job with the Academy and has been very influential in atracting top notch young players from around the South, such as Atkinson and Tomlinson. He is a major asset to the club.
Echo report states that it has been confirmed that he will continue as part of the first team management.

Latterly assistant to John Yems at Crawley Town, who are doing well enough in League 2 given their resources.
Has done well in the past at other clubs (H+W played some decent football when he was there, I remember), let's hope he'll do the same here. Hope he gets a decent budget. Welcome!

Lee Bradbury left H&W by mutual consent in 2019. in His last 4 seasons with them he managed 2 promotions and 2 relegations. Well you can't say it was boring! First interview here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=M8UVyfQ6ZO0

Will we be seeing his son upfront for us soon?

Possibly, doing OK at Oxford City. Potential there, not sure if he'd want to work for his father.
Shame Lee couldn't have brought Sam Matthews along too - he's gone on loan at Aldershot.

It only crossed my mind yesterday that of course Lee Bradbury is another member of the AFC Bournemouth 2008/9 "great escape" squad along with Danny Hollands and Brett Pitman. We have also had two other members of same squad in the past in Matt Tubbs and Joe Partington.

I think Anton Robinson played that season too, scored a cracker away to Weston super Mare for us in our first or second Conf South season 2005/06?, didn't stay too long from memory

Wouldn’t want Sam Matthews back as obviously hasn’t progressed hence why he is on loan to Aldershot. Wouldn’t mind Jack Payne back though

I believe he is the first manager for a while who has neither been appointed from within the existing set-up or has been head hunted without necessarily applying for the job. Lee clearly was keen to apply for the position and was one of the possible candidates for the position after Andy Hessenthaler left.
Regarding the AFC Bournemouth team of 2009/10 I believe Anton Robinson played for us briefly in the 2005/06 season (Our first in the National League South) and as stated scored against Weston Super Mare that season and there are several other members of that team who have remained in local football. Brett Pitman scored prolifically that season when he played up front alongside Lee Breadbury.
