Oh dear! Oh dear! Another game NO goals , substitutions too late as usual . Can someone tell the MANAGER ? Get the players on SHOOTING practice , make changes sooner rather than after the game has gone . It’s starting to become embarrassing .

I really hope that Strevs isnt setting up sides not to lose. I detest that style of football.

I really hope that Strevs isnt setting up sides not to lose. I detest that style of football. If he is, he's doing a bad job so far. The defeat on Saturday was poor. The season is early so no panic yet but Saturdays game needs to start with at least a clean sheet.

For those who were there and as Strevs said in his interview we had our fair share of chances and they’re goalie was MOTM for them. One of our players made a bad back pass for their first and there was a blatant handball for the third. No need for panic stations yet. We do need a decent central defender though(apart from Boycie).

I was not at the game, but according to the stats from sports mole we had 15 shots, 8 of which were on target and Bromley had 12 shots, 5 of which were on target, and on the corner count we had 6 to their 2. I know these statistics do not always tell the full story and in fact the number of yellow cards differ slightly to the team list supplied by efc21.
I expect that if Broadbent was fit he would be chosen ahead of Low. I also wonder whether having both played fewer than 20 games last season and only joined the club in August whether Pritchard and Whitehall are totally match fit yet and that is why to date they have been used as second half substitutes.

Would add that we rarely seem to win on plastic. My worry is that we are not taking our chances. House seems to have gone from prolific to soporific in front of goal. We also seem to lack a holding midfield player.

Have to agree with you about the holding midfield player, the point I made abou Tom Whelan I'm my summary was that He plays slightly higher up the pitch than Jack. Sometimes you would see him switch with Danny Hollands so maybe when he's back, Danny can do that job.

It will be nice having luxury players like Smart Hill Pritchard Hesketh and Whitehall but we do need 2 or 3 actual goalscorers. We haven't got a Cheek in our team, Christ we haven't even got an Alabi!

I think that in the past Danny Hollands has been good as a holding midfielder player, but he was not in the squad for Bromley and was an unused substitute against Wrexham.
Looking at Ben House's goalscoring record he scored 6 goals in the first 7 games of last season, but has only scored 3 times since then even though two of these were the only goal of the game and the other helped us beat Hartleppol by the odd goal.
From what people have said Joe Low has not looked particularly comfortable so far.
I think that by the standards of this league the goalscooring records of Whitehall and Pritchard are reasonable, certainly very much better than James Alabi's record of 9 goals in 80 league games from 2017/18 to 2020/21.
