Yeah it's been a while, Looking fowerd to this game tonight. I know our fourm dipped before this interruption but when you look at the table and see the games in hand you start to think, by putting a decent run together we'd be in the mix.

A win would be nice, but it will be even nicer just to watch Eastleigh play a game, possibly the last until next season?

I thought that "penalty" should have been our free kick.

Why do we ever only show attacking intent when we are 1-0 down and why can't we ever get any shots on target?..and I honestly can't recall the K.L 'keeper handling the ball after it left an Eastleigh player all game...it's really poor.

Simply second best tonight. You can complain about the penalty. Yes clearly outside the area and possibly even a foul the other way. But getting concerned about the way house dives in sometimes. However, when you count up the chances they created we could have lost that by three or four. Man for man I think we are better than them but there is something amiss in our pattern of team play and that must fall to Strevs and the coaches. Sort it out Strevs!

Obviously the disruption is playing a big part at the moment as guess they weren’t allowed to train when they were isolating etc. The weather seems to affect how they play as well. But that being said the last 5 games have been so boring to watch, it’s almost been a chore. They don’t even create chances so never look like scoring. Feel like we’ve just played some of the weaker teams in the league as well.

I don't like to be negative but that was a very disjointed Eastleigh last night. As mentioned above there Keeper had little to do and Joe probably man of the match.

After a promising start to the season, everything seems to be going downhill rapidly...and don't blame it on covid, it's the same for every club. They simply get to the party way too late in the game and have no idea on how to get on the end of a cross.

Thought spitfiresteve hit the nail on the head when he says we have lost our pattern of play. I think one of our biggest problems is who's playing left midfield. We need a good left footed player who has the energy to play that role, and the discipline to stay left side. Greener probably has best left foot but doesn't have the pace .Suggest our best option is Tomlinson . The team looks unbalanced at the moment . Smart in the side gives us pace on the right but there is no service of any sort on the left. We certainly aren't playing as well as we should be with the squad we have let's hope we turn things round quickly. GK is amazing

Certainly be naive to suggest covid hasn't interrupted us, not only do you not play games, you don't train and with current measures you're restricted to an outdoor run on your own, I'm not making excuses for the showing last night but being unable to work normally as footballers do then surely we could expect to come back and win 4-0.
I think its an exciting team on its day just hopefully We don't get interrupted again soon
